Stash Buster (Knitting/Crochet)

This workshop is a golden opportunity to use up some of your precious stash to make space in which to put your shiny, new, Wonderwool purchases!

Whats on offer?

There will be a wide selection of short knitting and crochet patterns available. So please bring your needles, hooks and stash. (the Guild does have some needles/hooks if you need to borrow some.)

A table will also be set up for wet felting. So if you would like to make felt please bring along your felting kit. If you haven’t done this before, and would like to, please bring along:

• an old towel
• some bubble wrap (approx 50cm x 50cm)
• wool tops (or you can buy some from the guild)
• soap (olive oil is good)
• a container with holes in the lid to sprinkle water
• plastic sheet or bin liner
• netting (e.g. old net curtain 50cm x 50cm)

If you don’t have all of the above, don’t worry, just bring what you have and you should be able to borrow the rest.

Alternatively bring your drop spindle or take the opportunity to do some hand or drum carding.
