Once again we are delighted that Mandy is running a knitting workshop. Here are the details of this years project:
The ABC/123 Shawl -an adaptation
This is a simple asymmetrical garter stitch shawl which is not too fancy. It has stripes and a simple lace mesh. No blocking is needed.
3.5mm needles are required – straight will be ok until the number of stitches dictates a circular needle of the same size would be easier.
Recommended yarn is 4 ply Drops Nord: 2 colours required 2 balls of each colour – 4 balls in all.
Wool Warehouse have a good range of colours at a good price.
A bulk order of yarn will be made or you may purchase the yarn yourself.
