Svetlana is a textile artist who uses wool and silk to make clothes, accessories and works of art.

Attendees will learn how to make a felted daisy picture of their own design and colourway. See below for full list of the equipment/materials that you need to bring with you.

Cost – £30 (which includes the wool/silk etc materials needed to make the felted picture) – please pay by bank transfer after booking a place. (bank details are on the members page)

Limited  to 12 places

List of equipment that attendees should bring with them:

• A plastic bag approx 42 x 40 cms
• 2 soft plastic sheets approx 60 x 65 cms
• A plastic ball
• Washing up liquid or bar of soap
• A bulb spray or empty plastic bottle with holes pierced in the lid
• A piece of net curtain
• A soft, knobbly mat from IKEA/Home Bargains (eg shelf liner)
• A felting tool or ridged soap container
• Bubble wrap
• A pair of thin, plastic gloves
• Clingfilm

Guild is providing the materials to make the felted pictures but you may like to bring small amounts of additional fibres/insertions for your picture such as:

• Art yarns, fancy yarns in natural fibres that will felt
• Wool nepps in various colours
• Small amounts of coloured silk, viscose, bamboo or other shiny fibres
