Following short demonstrations of a variety of little looms, Diana will be encouraging participants to devise and weave a tartan/plaid design (or log cabin) on their little loom.
Materials:
Squared paper (provided).
Please bring:
Coloured pencils if you have them.
Coloured yarns approx DK or 4 ply weight, Spinalong yarns or leftover yarns from Shetland knitting projects would be ideal.
A large weaving needle.
A pair of scissors.
Your own small loom of any type if you have one.
There will be some small looms available to use or Diana can pre order from Tabbyandtweed if you would like to buy one. Please let Diana know by 12.08.24 if you would like to be added to the order list for a 15.5 cm square loom.
Cost for Guild members: – £10 for workshop, loom approx £24 if required, to be paid to Guild by BACS once the price is ascertained.
Cost for non members: £20 for workshop plys cost of loom as above, if required.
